I crewed 76-0520 at Davis-Monthan AFB, 358 AMU from 1979-1983. She was known as Miss Piggy to me. We went to Hurlburt Field, FL on a TDY where we got caught in a frog-choking rain. Just got the pilot out and the canopy closed before the cockpit got too wet. Also went to Nellis AFB together for Green Flag Excercises in 1982. Was there when the Thunderbird four ship formation crashed in the Desert. She was a great aircraft and although I worked on other A-10s, she was only one I can remember by her tail number. She was my first.
